What is a Node License?

A Node License is the participation right used in Licensed Mining Node programs.

Is a Node License the same as AULT?

No. A Node License and the AULT token are different.

Is a license transferable?

Not yet. A license can be transferred two years after genesis.

Rewards

What is the difference between emissions and gas fee rewards?

Emissions are scheduled protocol rewards. Gas fee rewards come from real transaction activity on-chain.

Where do staking rewards come from?

From the staking share of emissions (5% in the current public allocation framing).

How are Licensed Mining Node rewards framed?

Licensed Mining Node programs are tied to the emissions allocation for node participation (95% in the current public allocation framing).

What is the proposal stake?

500,000 AULT

How long is the voting window?

What are quorum and veto thresholds?

Quorum is 20%. The NO WITH VETO threshold is 33.4%.

Is voting power capped?

Yes. The current cap is 200,000 votes per member.

What is AULT used for?

Protocol fees, staking, proposal staking, and protocol-level settlement.

What is the supply framework?

  • Total supply: 100,000,000,000 AULT
  • Bootstrap reserve: 100,000 AULT
  • Emissions supply: 99,999,900,000 AULT over 10 years

What is the current emissions split?

  • 95% Licensed Mining Node rewards
  • 5% staking rewards
