Ault Blockchain is a Layer 1 network built on the Cosmos SDK with full EVM compatibility. It combines:
  • CometBFT Proof-of-Stake consensus
  • A custom Cosmos-based application layer
  • An Ethereum-compatible execution environment
Ault is designed to support financial and infrastructure-oriented use cases with defined governance and economic controls. The native token, AULT, is used for:
  • Transaction fees
  • Validator staking
  • Governance proposal deposits
Token distribution follows a predefined emissions schedule. The majority of emissions are allocated to Licensed Mining Nodes that perform protocol-defined work. Governance rights are license-based. Voting power is derived from Node License ownership and DAO Membership under the Constitution.
